TURBO SWIM
TurboSWIM is a collaboration between PV Water Polo Club and Swimology, created for kids ages 7–14 who are already strong swimmers in both freestyle and backstroke. This program is designed to help athletes build endurance, refine technique, and take their swimming to the next level.
TURBOSWIM IS IDEAL FOR SWIMMERS WHO WANT TO:
• Pass the swim test required for Junior Lifeguards
• Prepare to join a competitive swim team or water polo program
• Get ready for high school swimming
• Use swimming as cross-training for other sports
• Improve stamina and swim for overall fitness

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:
• Swimsuit 🩱🩳 (No rash guards or swim shirts, please)
• Swimology cap (issued on Day 1; replacements available for $10)
• Towel
• Flip flops (for deck safety)
• Goggles – Recommended: Finis H2 Kids Performance or Speedo Vanquishers (available at The Swim Guy in Lawndale).
(Note: Goggles from Costco, Target, or Kohl’s — even Speedo branded — often don’t hold up well. Invest in a quality pair!)
COACHES: DeAnn (coach from SwimologyLA)
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT: We use a registration system called SportNinja. For first time users you will need to create an account as the parent first and then create a player profile for each of your players from there. Please make sure you include your player's USA Water Polo Membership # in the "Governing Body ID" when filling in your player's information.
AGE DETERMINATION: This is a swim-focused training for 7-14 year olds!
COMMITMENT LEVEL: Consistent attendance is key. Regular practice not only accelerates individual skill development but also strengthens group cohesiveness, creating a fun and productive learning environment for everyone.
TURBO SWIM - FALL ACADEMY
COMPETITION LEVEL: Beginner to Intermediate
DATES: September 15 through October 30 (6 Weeks)
BASE PRACTICE SCHEDULE: (subject to change)
Mondays 5:00-5:45
Tuesdays 6:30-7:15 GMAC
Thursdays 6:45-7:30 GMAC

WHAT TO BRING?: Towel, googles and a water bottle! Wear your swimsuit and don't forget the sunblock!
